Job Title: Research Assistant, BGF

Job Description

Research Assistant is required for a project to evaluate novel materials for prevention of marine growth. The study will include intensive fieldwork and laboratory bioassays to understand how marine animals interact with man made materials, with aim to develop environmentally sustainable antifouling coatings for the maritime industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology/Life Science/Marine Science).
• Candidate must be prepared to work outdoors and able to swim.
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Class 3 driver’s licence will be useful.
